SVOX SpeechCreate

Based on input from car manufacturers and automotive Tier-1 suppliers, we have created an easy-to-use tool to make the process of speech dialog development more efficient.

The result is SVOX SpeechCreate: a highly innovative tool to create recording-like prompts using TTS, thereby converting a PC workstation into a virtual recording studio.

The SVOX SpeechCreate software can be licensed, allowing partners to create their own prompts rather than having SVOX perform this work. This option is particularly useful once the initial designs are done and SpeechCreate is being used to develop incremental prompts for a software update.

Prompt Design Process
With SVOX SpeechCreate, the desired sentence melody of the prompts is created using an easy-to-use graphical user interface to control the TTS behavior. The results are stored as sound files or as SpeechCreate prompts, which are parameter files that exactly define how a given input text is to be spoken in terms of sound, melody and rhythm. SpeechCreate parameter require significantly less memory than sound files.

SVOX SpeechCreate allows straight-forward design, prototyping and specification of prompt sets as well as easy integration into the tool chains of car manufacturers and automotive T1 suppliers.
