Chief Financial Officer

Dr. Eugen Stermetz joined SVOX in May 2009 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has extensive experience in building and financing high-tech start-ups, both as a CFO or board member and as an advisor. Throughout his career, Eugen has been responsible for corporate finance transactions with a total value exceeding EUR 100m, including substantial venture capital investments and M&A transactions.

Most recently, Eugen served as a CFO and Managing Director of Austrian biotech company f-star and before that as an Executive Board Member and CFO of igeneon AG. He had started his career by working as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group’s corporate finance practice in Munich and Vienna.

Eugen holds lic.oec. and doctorate degrees in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration respectively.
