SVOX Engine
The SVOX engine is the central component of the architecture. It contains all the functionality and algorithmic framework for the text-to-speech (text analysis and voice synthesis), phrase splicing, and expressive speech technologies. The SVOX engine is language independent, which means the engine needs to be integrated on the target platform only once. Additional languages and voices can be added without additional software integration effort.
Engine Extensions
The SVOX engine can be extended by application-specific functionality. For example, a proprietary speech decoder can be added to the engine.
